2.GARRY KASPAROV (1963 - )

This name surely doesn't need an introduction in the world of chess. Regarded by the majority of the critics as "The greatest of all time" was also a distinct attacking player, and remained so until the day he retired. Kasparov’s philosophy was that if you position enough pieces near the opponent’s king, the game will eventually end in a checkmate as long as you find the right combinations. And no one was better at finding the right combinations than Kasparov. He was the king of chess for 20 years. The classical world champion for the first 15 of them and the world number one for the full 20. He’s one of the greatest attacking player of all time, and it seems unlikely that anyone can challenge his spot as the best attacking player of all time(except for Mikhail Tal, Ofcourse)
